Growing up in a small town with a Mom who made all her outfits, Lauren Mehlhoff earned at a young age how to recycle and reuse. Her crafty nature has only grown over the years.
When her still-young family went through tough economic times, Lauren put together her first t-shirt quilts for both of her two children and her husband out of shirts they had outgrown but couldn't bear to give up. They were instant hits.
As time went on, Lauren found other things she could re-use: jeans, old blankets, and material scraps. Everything you find on Nothin' New is made from something else. You can provide scraps for your own project, or you can donate scraps for other projects.
